Spencer Turkin is a sports media personality currently based in the Greensboro, North Carolina. He is a native New Yorker who grew up on Long Island, graduated from G.W. Hewlett High School and earned his broadcast journalism degree from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. Spencer is currently earning his MBA from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign with an expected graduation date of July 2022.

 

Besides sports, Spencer is passionate about meeting people and has friends who reside all over the globe.  He learned at an early age that relationships make life meaningful. Spencer has been active in several philanthropic organizations such as the Matthew Gfeller Foundation and the Childress Institute for Pediatric Trauma while also fostering dogs through the Human Society of Davie County.  Spencer also volunteered his time coaching baseball at Mendenhall Middle School in Greensboro.
